Army Medical College, Bogra (AMCB) started its journey on 28th September 2014 after getting necessary approval from Govt. In a time span of 3 and ½ months, the current infrastructural development was completed and the inauguration ceremony was held on 10th January 2015 along with other four Army Medical Colleges.

It started the academic year 2014-2015 with the active inspiration of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh. Hasina, the then Bangladesh Army Chief of Staff General Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan, Major General AKM Abdullahil Baquee, ndu, psc, Area Commander Bogra Area, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Army Medical College Bogra and all the doctors and staff working at Army Medical College Bogra. On January 11, 2015, the school started the 2014-2015 academic year with 50 students.
